The ICT&S faculty members hold sound research expertise in regard to new information- and communication technologies and society, spanning a wide range of interrelated social, economic, political, legal, technical, industrial, and ethical issues.

Students

The ICT&S Doctoral Academy offers its students the opportunity to make their first scientific career move equipped with an exceptional transdisciplinary and international mindset, supplemented by the co-operative working spirit of the ICT&S Center. Depending on their masters program, the students can obtain either a doctorate in informatics (Dr. tech.) or in social sciences (Dr. phil.).

Visitors

It is a major objective of the ICT&S Center to enhance both internationality and interdisciplinarity. To enhance the dimension of the doctoral student’s curriculum and to offer them a broad view on various academic disciplines as well as in-depth studies in various academic disciplines and research areas, the ICT&S Center follows its tradition to invite guest professors of international distinction.
